Jeremy Lin a good long term decision?

Head coach of the Knicks Mike Woodson said today that they will absolutely re-sign the inspirational Jeremy Lin to at least a 5 million dollar contract. In my opinion i think that Coach Woodson is repaying Lin for the 6-1 superstar display that Lin showed Mid march right after former head coach  Mike D'Antoni expectantly resigned. During Lin's run there was a lot of criticism whether he could keep up his all-star performances which he did for quite a bit of time until things fell apart and went back to normal Knicks before his debut. Who know's this may be one of the best decisions the knicks could make or it could be a huge fantasy that doesn't come true.
Jeremy Lin has shown that he could be a franchise superstar but, he has also shown that he can be the king of flop. At one point he was turning over the ball 50% of the time he came down the court...what the fuck. How can you be supposedly one of the best players in the league and you can even control the ball. that's the whole damn point of a point guard! BALL CONTROL! One day someone will definitely be able to say whether this was a good decision or no, but for now it's up in the air.
